Before you install Stereoid, please make sure that your system meets the following minimum requirements:
Computer
A Mac or PC computer with 64-bit Intel processor with at least 4 GB of RAM,3 GB free disk space, and a minimum of one single 2 Ghz or faster processor. Minimum 15” display (smaller displays will be cropped). Please note thatyour processors must support SSE4 instructions.
OS Version
-Mac OSX 10.6 (Snow-Leopard)
-Mac OSX 10.7.5 and above (Lion)
-Mac OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion)
-Linux Kernel 2.6 libc 2.11 (Centos 6, etc.)
QuickTime
-In order for Stereoid to list ProRes444 and ProRes422 codecs as compress options in output, the ProApps QuickTime Codecs must be installed (manually) in addition to Motion/Final Cut Pro and/or Final Cut X.The ProApps QuickTime Codecs can be downloaded from the support.apple. com website.
